Jasurocu Fest is a robotics sumo competition festival held at the Science and Technology Park in Oradea. We built a full-featured competition management web application (app.jasurocu.com) that handles everything behind the scenes — team registration with member and robot management, Stripe-integrated payments with bank transfer fallback, multi-phase competition brackets (group stage and knockout), real-time standings and match tracking, and a complete admin dashboard for event organizers.
The app features a complete registration flow where teams can sign up, add members, and register their robots. Payments are handled through Stripe checkout integration with automatic confirmation, plus a bank transfer option with proof-of-payment upload and downloadable payment documents.
The core of the platform is the competition engine: robots are assigned to competitions, then progress through group stages and knockout brackets. Match results are updated in real-time, standings are calculated automatically, and the public can follow along with live leaderboards and detailed per-competition rankings.
A powerful admin panel gives organizers full control: create and manage competitions, handle check-in sessions (open/close, mark attendance, bulk upload), manage match statuses and results, configure registration fees, export competition data, and manage user accounts and teams — all from a single dashboard.
The platform also includes a robust user management system with role-based access, secure authentication with CSRF protection and password recovery, configurable registration windows that organizers can open and close, and bank transfer settings for alternative payment processing. The entire system is built to handle the full lifecycle of a multi-day robotics competition event, from initial team signup to final standings.
